The 24-year-old’s reps confirmed the news, telling OK! Online: “It has been mutually agreed between Jasmin and Lime Pictures that she will take a break from filming.

"TOWIE is very storyline dependent and Jasmin did not have much going on that we could show on screen."

She first appeared on the reality show in 2010, before being made a regular cast member in 2012.

Confirming the news herself, Jasmin tweeted: "I can confirm that I am taking a break from filming #TOWIE but would like to thank everyone invovled with the show, Producers, Cast & Crew x [sic]"

Jasmin and her on/off boyfriend Ross Worswick recently got back together, ruling out any opportunity for her to have a relationship on the show.

Speaking previously of Ex on the Beach star Ross, Jasmin said: “I’m not going to lie I did miss him.

“I really think I just get along with him so well. He’s so supportive of me and I’m really enjoying our relationship now.”

Jasmin’s exit comes after Charlie Sims quit the show in March. The 23-year-old took to Twitter to make the announcement, taking the opportunity to dump girlfriend Ferne McCann at the same time.
