TOWIE: Lydia Bright says “Arg and I could be living in Spain”

Lydia Bright thinks she and James Argent would be living very different lives if they'd never starred in The Only Way Is Essex.

We've watched their on/off on-again relationship, seen Lydia leave Essex to get away from him and cringed at Arg trying to win her back.

But the 24-year-old boutique owner doesn't even think they would be living in Essex if it wasn't for the show.

When asked what she thinks she would be doing now if she'd never appeared on TOWIE, Lydia told a British magazine: "I actually don't know… I took gap year and was working in admin in Camden. I hated it – I found it really boring.

"Then my auntie said James and I should go and work in her bar in Spain, so we moved there and shortly after that, TOWIE came up. She who knows what would've happened?

"Maybe I would've gone to university or perhaps me and James would still be living in Spain."

Viewers saw on the last series of TOWIE that Lydia wasn't sure about getting back together with Arg, after finding out he'd cheated.

But she insists they have a long history, going back even before the show.

She continued: "We were together for three years before the show and a year when we were on it.

"We're just two normal people from Essex who've been on this massive roller coaster. Our lives have completely changed."
