Strictly Come Dancing 2017 kicked off on Saturday night and it was everything we hoped for.

Glamour, sequins, stunning dance moves! The opening night had it all. And of course we got to see which professional dancers this year's celebrities were paired up with.

And with so many contestants falling victim to the 'Strictly curse' - when not long after taking part in the show, they separate from their real life partners - it's no wonder we're all so fascinated by who gets teamed up with who.

We're looking for chemistry and any hints that this may be the next famous face to find their love lives jinxed by the intensity of training one-on-one with someone who isn't their husband or wife.

But one novice dancer who isn't worried about the effects on her own relationship is Charlotte Hawkins. The Good Morning Britain presenter has been paired with Brendan Cole and seemed relaxed about the situation when quizzed by her GMB co-stars Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan.

After Susanna claimed mum of one Charlotte would be 'safe' with married Brendan, Piers asked Charlotte if she was worried about the 'curse'.

He said: "You and Brendan will be up close for hours a day… when the old paso doble starts to kick in…"

But Charlotte replied: "No we’re gonna be dancing together. That’s what it’s about, the dancing."

We believe her but thousands wouldn't! Only joking but we can't wait to see what they cook up in training this week.
