It’s fair to say that Albert Square is no stranger to drama.
And it couldn’t be truer for Ben Mitchell, who has been involved in a fair share of events during his time in EastEnders.
From his abuse at the hands of his dad’s wife, Stella, to murders, jail time, and becoming a teenage father, Phil’s son has had a lot going on in his short twenty years.
But could the tear-away be about to meet a grizzly end on the popular BBC 1 soap?
Phil and Ian receive a shock call from the hospital telling them that Ben has been involved in a dramatic and potentially life-threatening incident. Panicked and stricken, the pair immediately head over to see Ben in an attempt to see the young Mitchell while he fights for his life.
But after sustaining critical injuries, will Ben be able to come out on top this time, or is it all over for the troublesome teen?
Phil’s son may not be the only one who is facing a dramatic exit from the show.
While Ben’s life is hanging by a thread, his boyfriend, Paul Coker, is facing an terrible end, according to Lin Blakley, who plays his grandma Pam.
“It’s going to be awful,” she told Inside Soap.
“I imagine it’s going to be hell for Paul’s boyfriend, Ben, whatever happens,”
Does that mean that there is a link between these events? We’ll have to wait until the episode airs on Monday July 18th.
