Pop star turned soap star Shayne Ward has announced he's expecting his first child with his Hollyoaks actress girlfriend Sophie Austin – a mere four months after confirming their romance.
UPDATE: Shayne Ward has now confirmed the news himself, tweeting:

A source told The Sun: "Sophie and Shayne have been keeping the exciting news to themselves to enjoy the moment in private.
"But mum and baby are doing amazing and they’ve started telling their nearest and dearest.
"They were unable to hide their joy at Shayne’s music gig at Glasgow’s Hamilton Park Racecourse on Saturday, chatting about the baby backstage."
The source added: “It’s definitely shocked a few people because of how fast it’s happened, but they’re completely in love and are excited about becoming first-time parents."
Shayne, who recently bagged himself Best Newcomer at The National Television Awards for his role as Coronation Street's Aidan Connor, admitted that he had a crush on Sophie, who plays Lindsey Butterfield in Hollyoaks, after seeing in just a bra in a sexy scene.
He tweeted: “Best start to Hollyoaks I’ve ever witnessed!”
