Celebrity Big Brother has given us controversy after controversy this year, thanks to the likes of Lee Ryan, Jasmine Waltz, Casey Batchelor, Linda Nolan and Jim Davidson.

However the biggest BY FAR has just been revealed - procurers have been entering the house and holding up cue cards for the contestants.

In the words of several outraged viewers, it's a "fake".

An unfortunately timed shot from the camera runs on spin-off programme Bit On The Side at the weekend clearly showed a crew member INSIDE the house and holding up cue cards for contestants.

The show staffer was seen as former Made in Chelsea star Ollie Locke performed a reality show style skit with The Only Way Is Essex's Sam Faiers in which he declared his love for her.

The staffer held up the story-line cards as they performed the routine on stage for the other housemates - and, despite it being said that housemates will not have contact from the outside world, Big Brother producers have defended their actions.

They explained: "Sometimes members of the task team enter the Big Brother house but they do not communicate with housemates.

"Ollie and Sam were taking part in an improvised reality scene and as part of this they were provided with surprise story lines to react to on chalk boards by a member of the task team."

Apparently the cue cards were only used for Ollie Locke and Sam Faiers during a task

Some viewers complained about being misled by the show after believing that the reality telly pair had come up with the scene themselves, with one tweeting: “Crew member on Big Brother telling them what to do #totallyruinedit #cbb"

It is not the first time Celebrity Big Brother have been criticised this year; Sam Faiers was also allowed to submit a magazine column from within the house, meaning she had contact with a journalist.

Do you think that producers should be allowed to enter the house and make contact with the contestants - even for the purposes of a task? Let us know via the Comments Box below.
