Royal bachelor ‘Prince Harry’ set for reality dating show ‘I Wanna Marry Harry’ – look away, Cressida Bonas!

Is Prince Harry the first royal to do a reality TV show (besides Prince Edward's It's A Knockout, obviously)?

Of course not, you silly billies.

But, while we might have figured out that it's extremely unlikely Prince Harry would ever be allowed to take part in a Bachelor-style dating show, a group of 12 women have been duped into thinking they are competing for the royal’s heart in a new reality series to be aired in the US.

Yup, we're serious. Deadly serious.

Deadline has reported that the Fox network will air the Ryan Seacrest produced series 'I Wanna Marry Harry' in May, which sees a dozen American women shipped to a fancy estate in England to compete for the attention of a man they think is Prince Harry.

The royal impostor is Harry lookalike Matthew Hicks, whom the girls are led to believe is the real thing as they attempt to become the American-version of Kate Middleton.

The official description for the show states: “An average English ‘bloke’ is given the royal treatment and an upper crust makeover before meeting 12 single American women searching for Prince Charming.

"Will he be able to convince them he’s regal? And if he does, will they fall for the crown, or fall in love with the real him?”

Something tells us they might not be too happy when they realise they've been duped!

'I Wanna Marry "Harry"' will debut on May 27 at 8pm EST on Fox. Will YOU be watching?
