It might seem like the summer has disappeared quicker than Christopher Biggins from the Celebrity Big Brother house, but there are still a few key events to have a hoot at before winter well and truly comes.

Reading Festival has completely sold out of weekend tickets - "waaaaaah" we hear you cry - but never fear, there are still some ways of making your way into the legendary festival during the August bank holiday weekend.

Playing the festival are the likes of Scottish pop wailers Chvrches, indie heavyweights Foals, classic emo veterans Fall Out Boy, plus Imagine Dragons, The 1975 - featuring ex-Taylor-Swift-dater, Matt Healy.

A few day tickets are still available for the festival on Friday and Sunday for Reading, however you can still see the entire line up if you opt for t’north and nab a ticket for Leeds Festival.

Leeds will play host to a dedicated Relentless stage hosting acts like Jaguar Skills and Andy C. You’ll also get to see the main headliners from across both sites, the veteran funk-pack and Carpool Karaoke maestros Red Hot Chili Peppers, Scottish rock gods Biffy Clyro and fresh-faced dance pioneers Disclosure.

Both Festivals take place from Friday 28th August - Sunday 30th August 2016. Weekend tickets for Leeds come it at £205 + £8 booking fee, meanwhile day tickets for either site will cost around £59.50 + £7 booking fee.
