Hollyoaks fans, get excited because the Spring trailer has just dropped and it is pretty amazing
Hollyoaks is turning the drama up for Spring '17 judging by the brand, spanking new trailer that has literally just dropped into our laps. From Warren Fox having a conscience-driven meltdown to random dead bodies lying in the road. There is muchos going down in Chester. Here are the headline grabbers.
1. The dead body in the road
There's a motorbike, a dead body and someone running, but what the heck has happened? Well, we know that Freddie Roscoe is soon to be departing the soap, could that be his body lying on the road? Or could it be Joel?
2. Warren's meltdown
"His name was Bart McQueen, he was a human being and I killed him." Why the sudden guilt Warren? What about Louise Summers and Sean Kennedy, Warren?
3. Ellie's misery
She recently reported Nick Savage for his attack on her, but it doesn't look like there is going to be much in the way of happiness or closure for Ellie Nightingale when she's told that there isn't enough evidence to prosecute.
4. Maxine's wedding
Maxine is delighted when Adam proposes, but looking on slyly is Darcy. It's clear Darcy has her own plans for Adam - and it doesn't look like they involve Maxine.
5. Did Ryan kill Amy?
Ste has been charged and it set to stand trial, but it suddenly becomes obvious that there are other people who could have murdered Amy. Like Ryan, for example, who we see in the trailer being very ruddy sinister indeed. "You have no idea what I'm capable of," he tells Mercedes. Yikes.
6. Forbidden love
Woah, Hunter is growing dangerously fond of teaching assistant Neeta. Is there going to be a dangerous liaison going on here? Don't do it, Neeta!
7. Baby bombshells?
Is the truth about Louis' secret lovechild with Leela on the verge of becoming common knowledge? It looks that way when Simone says she wants to add another baby to the Loveday brood.
8. Ste's trial
Is Harry the only person that believes Ste wouldn't hurt Amy? It certainly is looking that way as Ste prepares to stand trial for murdering Amy.
9. Kim loses it
Seeing Esther and Grace rekindle their love is too much for Kim, and it pushes her over the edge. But what happens to her?
