Earlier this year Neighbours welcomed back several of the street’s most loved characters from over the years in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
Now actress Carla Bonner is set to reprise her role as Stephanie Scully in the soap’s latest twist.
Producers have promised that Steph’s return will be ‘explosive’ and lead to Ramsay Street’s current residents to lock horns.
Neighbours series producer Jason Herbison said: “Steph left Erinsborough under dramatic circumstances, after she was arrested for stealing Lucas and Vanessa's baby.
"Her return to Ramsay Street will be explosive and her presence will divide the residents.”

He added that he was delighted to have the soap star back on the show
"It's wonderful having Carla back on set permanently, she is the consummate professional."
Steph last appeared in Neighbours back in 2013 when she suffered a psychotic breakdown and attempted to steal Lucas and Vanessa’s baby.
Needless to day, her return is definitely going to ruffle some feathers.

Speaking to Digital Spy about her return, actress Carla said: "I feel like I've come home.
"I feel like a girl who flew the nest to see and explore the world, and has returned an enriched woman."
The set truly is like home, with son Harley Bonner also appearing in the soap as Josh Willis.
Harley even shared an adorable mother/son photo of the pair getting their make up done together, writing: “Some sons watch footy with their Dad…”
