Graham is a new client for Charity Tate, played by Emma Atkins, and Debbie is determined to win his business so insists she goes and meets him.

But Charity gets there first with Debbie closely following behind as she tries keep her car business out of financial trouble.

On joining Emmerdale, Ned said: “I was really delighted to secure the role of Tom. I’ve never played a character like this before and I am very excited to see how this story develops.”

Andrew added: “(Graham) is a bit enigmatic but he definitely has hidden depths, which I can’t wait to explore and he’s fiercely loyal to his boss Tom. I see Graham as a man a little bit like Batman’s butler Alfred.”

Ned and Andrew’s first scenes are set to air in September.
