Phillip Schofield has revealed that he starred in an episode of Friends - did you catch his scene?
Phillip Schofield is, nowadays, famed as This Morning’s resident silver fox - but he has had a VERY impressive career.
From starting out as the first in-vision continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays, to starring as Joseph in the West End musical, Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Phil has had an illustrious 30 years in the public eye.
And now he’s revealed that he even appeared in hit American sitcom, Friends.
Earlier this week after the conversation of a Friends reunion came up, he casually dropped the fact that he was on the show.
Although probably not in quite the way you’d first imagine…
"I have actually been on Friends. I’ve been in an episode of Friends. The one where they keep the scary books in the fridge. When I say I was on Friends, my laugh was on Friends."
This isn't the first time he's spoken about his time on the show, in 2016 he sat down with This Morning guest Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing in the show, and admitted that he had appeared in a scene alongside Joey (Matt Le Blanc) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston).
“One of my greatest claims to fame is that I am in Friends,” he said firmly.

But, thankfully Phil and Holly had the footage to prove it.

However Matthew wasn’t all that impressed.
"I was in it more," he quipped, proving he still has that amazingly dry sense of humour.

While there’s no denying that Phillip has definitely stretched the definition of ‘starring’ in a show, we’re kind of in love with this clip.
And you can pretty much guarantee that we will NEVER watch this scene again without thinking about the ITV This Morning presenter.
