Tomorrow there won't be any daytime television because of the general election
If you're looking forward to a chilled Friday morning full of daytime television programmes we're sorry to let you down but it's all cancelled tomorrow because of the general election.
Back in April, Loose Women was cancelled after Theresa May announced she wanted a general election and now it'll be off air again.
Lorraine, Jeremy Kyle, This Morning and Loose Women will not be on TV on Friday [June 9] because ITV will be replacing it with "extended news coverage" of the election results.
On the plus side though, Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid will be live on Good Morning Britain for a whopping three and a half hours, from 6am – 9:35am, and they will be replacing Lorraine.
This Morning wrote on Twitter: "That's all for today! We're not on air tomorrow because of @ITV's election result programme but we'll be back on Mon with a jam-packed show."
Loose Women also tweeted: "There is no show tomorrow due to the election results – but we'll be back on Monday!"
Susanna Reid also tweeted: "Special, extended @gmb announced for General Election results coverage on Friday June 9th. @piersmorgan & I will be at the desk 6-9.25am."
It seems that Twitter users are divided with the news, while one person tweeted: "So something good has come from the election then."
Someone else wrote: "F—k the election, I'd rather watch #ThisMorning any time of the day :("
Alrighty then.
Last month ITV cancelled This Morning and Loose Women following the Manchester terror attack.
Make sure you vote today polling stations close at 10pm.
