Jimmy Bullard’s Bush Tucker Trial was one of the highlights of Monday night’s show, but not everyone was impressed.

As former footballer Jimmy, 36, swam through an infested tank, screaming “Sorry son!” at eels, crabs and snakes he uttered more than a few expletives.

It’s now been reported that he could face the boot from the show, which is marketed as a ‘family show’.

A source told the Daily Star: “He’s been effing and blinding since the camera rolled and it’s a problem. He must realise he’s not on the pitch racing Roy Keane. He’s on a family show.”

At one point during the trial, a clearly terrified Jimmy didn’t react well when an angry water python lunged at him.

A show crew member said: “We thought we swore a lot on set but we are angels compared to Jimmy. His lingo was filthy.”

Speaking after the trial, Jimmy told an amused Ant and Dec: “That was the toughest thing I’ve ever done.”

But Jimmy isn’t all bad, despite his bad language. Instead of feeding Croc Camp with his four stars, he chose to rescue one of the celebrities from the jungle slammer.
