I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here fans were not happy last night when the show was cancelled because the football was on but it seems that the ITV bosses are making it up to viewers by adding two more celebrities into the jungle.
Presenters Danny Baker, 59 who has been working in the industry since the 80s and Homes Under the Hammer presenter Martin Roberts, 53 will be joining the other celebrities; Larry Lamb, Scarlett Moffatt, Adam Thomas, Ola Jordan, Wayne Bridge, Jordan Banjo, Lisa Snowdon, Sam Quek, Joel Dommett and Carol Vorderman.
We will see the two presenters heading into the jungle on Thursday and we’re guessing they might have to face a trial before they enter the camp.
Martin Roberts has already made a surprising confession, he’ll be facing his fears in the shower: “I feel very insecure about my body,” he told the Mirror.
He also revealed that his health is one of his biggest worries: “You think this is such a great opportunity.
“The last thing you want to do is fall and hurt yourself, suddenly get really ill or let something else get in the way which is beyond your control.”
We think Martin will be fine, especially after Danny revealed to The Sun: “They do a medical on you and you have to do that [before you enter the jungle]. But then you have an hour and a half conversation with the team’s psychologist to check whether you’re mentally stable enough to go into the jungle.”
He also revealed one of the questions he was asked was: “Have you ever felt like you’re possessed or controlled by aliens?”
OK, then…
Danny originally teased his Twitter followers a couple of weeks ago when he wrote: “Sitting here seeing I am going in the Jungle next week. Chums, the very idea is preposterous. And to people I’m now working with: calm down.”
But when the I’m A Celebrity line up was revealed he tweeted: “Well there you go. Apologies for all the silly cat and mouse stuff. It was a good game. #NextYear”
“Starting to wish I had gone in the Jungle now. In Australia its 8.30 tomorrow morning. I could tell you who the next President is #Spoiler”
But as most fans of the TV show will know, a few more celebrities are usually sent into the camp later than the others, and last week Danny tweeted: “Just been alerted, and then told my wife, that I am now second favourite to win I’m A Celebrity outright this year. #BitOfAPunt.”
Enough teasing now Danny, we can’t wait to see you do a Bushtucker trial in the jungle!
