**You may remember Jon Clark as one of the standout characters from Love Island last year, and you’re going to be seeing a whole lot more of him now. **

The 24-year-old has joined the cast of The Only Way Is Essex for its 17th series – giving him a whole host of new opportunities to use his hilarious one-liners.

Jon is best mates with current TOWIE stars James ‘Lockie’ Lock, Dan Edgar and Mike Hassini, and he previously lived in Marbella for three years.

Joining alongside Jon is his younger brother Chris, a student at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.

Love Island fans will recall Jon’s relationship with Hannah Elizabeth – but the couple sadly split last year, leaving him open to a relationship with any of the gorgeous TOWIE girls.

One thing we absolutely couldn’t get enough of was Jon’s hilarious use of metaphors. Like when he told Hannah: “You make me feel like a rainbow.”

Or the amazing: “You’re perfect to me. And that scares the life out of me because you could break my heart, put it in a blender and bury it.”

Jon and Chris aren’t the only newcomers. Also joining for the new series are 23-year-old secretary Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green, a 20-year-old junior PA.

Chloe is good friends with CBB star Megan McKenna, and TOWIE boys Lewis Bloor and Jake Hall.

Single Courtney may be looking for love, after splitting from her boyfriend last year and losing two stone.
