Lee Ryan's EastEnders debut as new bar manager Woody had fans confused
Lee Ryan's new role as bar manager Woody in EastEnders has gone down like Marmite with fans of the BBC soap. While some people absolutely loved the Blue singer rocking up on a motorbike and taking charge of the Queen Vic, others were less than impressed. Lee, whose arrival in the show was announced last month, will be an Albert Square resident for a short stint and he is already being lined up for a potential romance storyline with Whitney.
Fans took to Twitter to praise Lee, many saying they were pleasantly surprised by his acting ability.
Unfortunately, not all of Lee's reviews were quite so shining, with some threatening to boycott the soap until he leaves.
Looks like Lee might have some work winning over the hardcore fans of EastEnders.
