Lucy Beale, played by Hetti Bywater, was killed off earlier on Good Friday in one of the most talked-about 'whodunnit' plots ever seen on Albert Square.
And Jake Wood, who plays Max Branning on the soap, admitted that neither he nor any of his castmates had any idea who the killer was during an interview on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Monday morning.
He explained: “I genuinely don't know. I think there's about four people in the world who know at the moment. I'm certainly not one of them."
We have a long time to wait before we find out who did kill Lucy Beale, as the storyline won’t be resolved until February 2015 as part of the soap’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
But Jake has revealed that the cast will be filming a whopping FIFTEEN different endings to the explosive storyline.
He said: “We'll probably film those episodes about Christmas time. Even then, they have done it where they still won't tell the rest of the cast.
"I spoke to Dominic, our boss - he said they're going to film about 15 different endings. So again we might just find out on the night it goes out.”
