Laura Whitmore took to Instagram to confirm that she is leaving I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here's ITV2 spin-off show.
The 30-year-old wrote: ”After 5 incredible series working with my extended I’m A Celeb family, I’ve taken the tough decision to hang up my jungle boots," she wrote.
"It’s been such a wonderful experience but I feel it’s time to move on. I wish the team well and look forward to tuning in later this year as well as continuing to work with ITV on other shows."
However it seems as if someone is ALREADY eyeing up that empty presenting position.
And, yes, it’s none other than Loose Women’s Katie Price!
Taking to Twitter, Katie, 37, insisted she’s more than ready to step into Laura Whitmore’s shoes…
But she has one condition: she wants her ex-husband Peter Andre, who she famously met in the I’m A Celeb jungle, presenting alongside her.
“I would sooo present this how cool if me and pete did it,” she wrote.
Yiesh, talk about jumping into someone’s grave - Laura only released her statement a few hours ago, Katie!
However there’s no denying that having Katie and Peter together in the jungle again would make great telly.
The pair recently kissed and made up after their marriage broke down seven years ago, with Katie even forging a friendship with Pete’s new wife, Emily MacDonagh.
Speaking to Lorraine on ITV, Peter said: “It’s really strange even with things that have happened in the past, me and Kate we’re okay now.
“We see each other when we see each other with the kids, and it’s all nice, very civilised.
“We all get on really well which is excellent so that just adds to the peace and the serenity and the kids are really happy and it’s really nice.”
Katie and Peter share two children, Junior and Princess.
Peter Andre and his wife also have daughter Amelia together, while Katie is also a mum to Kieran Hauler’s children, Jett Riviera and Bunny, as well as her eldest son Harvey.
