Appearing on TLC’s Breaking the Silence on Sunday night, Jessa, Jill and their mother Michelle all spoke out about the incidents, that only recently came to light in the public domain.

Jessa was open about her views on the matter, saying that people needed to talk more about child sexual abuse, to make it easier to prevent.

‘I think that it shouldn’t be a taboo subject, that we should be bringing awareness to child sexual abuse and talking about this,’ she said.

Back in May, it was revealed that Josh Duggar has molested five minors in his youth, four of whom were his own sisters.

As a result, 19 kids and counting, which featured the Duggar’s large family, was cancelled by TLC.

Josh was never charged for his crimes, despite admitting them, as by the time police learned of them the statue of limitations had already passed.

And this wasn’t the only scandal to hit the family in recent months, with internet hackers revealing he also had accounts with cheating website Ashley Madison.

A stripper also then came forward and alleged that he had paid her for ‘rough sex.’
