Early life
Jeremy Nicholas Kyle was born 7 July 1965 in Reading, Berkshire (aged 50)
His father was an accountant and personal secretary to the Queen Mother
He studied History and Sociology at the University of Surrey in Guildford
Career
1986 to 1995: Kyle worked as a life insurance salesman, recruitment consultant, and radio advertising salesman
1996: He then became a radio presenter at Orchard FM in Somerset and Leicester Sound in Leicester, before being signed by Kent's Invicta FM
1997: He joined BRMB in Birmingham, presenting the shows Late & Live and Jezza's Jukebox
2000: Kyle moved to the Century FM network calling his new show was called Jezza's Confessions. He won a Sony Award for Late & Live in 2001.
2002: He started presenting series Jezza's Virgin Confessions broadcast on Virgin Radio
2007- present: Kyle began presenting now infamous The Jeremy Kyle Show, broadcasting across Gcap Media's One Network
2011: Kyle began hosted a U.S. version of his eponymous show which ran for two seasons.
Controversy and health
2008: The Jeremy Kyle Show was criticised in court after a man who found out during the recording of a show that he was not the father of his wife's child later pointed an air rifle at her
2012: Kyle was diagnosed with testicular cancer.[25] He received chemotherapy and underwent surgery to remove the affected testicle. He was given the all-clear following surgery
2014: Kyle waspepper sprayed by a bouncer claiming Kyle was making the resort look bad, while filming in Magaluf
Love and Family
1989: Jeremy Kyle married Kirsty Rowley on July 01, 1989; their marriage lasted 2 years till 1991
1990: Their daughter, Harriet, was born in June
1990: The marriage ended just five months after the birth, when h is ex-wife has claimed that Kyle had a gambling habit
1999: Kyle met model Carla Germaine whilst presenting on a BRMB radio show. Carla had entered the controversial Two Strangers and a Wedding contest hosted by the station, married the co-contestant, but divorced him after 3 months.
2002: Carla married Kyle in 2002
2004: They welcome their first child Alice
2006: They welcome second daughter Ava
2010: They welcome first son Henry
2015: In September the couple split, amid reports she was having an affair with a toyboy lover. Jeremy released a formal statement, reading: “After 13 years of a generally happy marriage, my wife and I, Carla, have separated amicably.”
