Jacqueline Jossa and Lorna Fitzgerald will leave EastEnders, it has been confirmed.
The soap's bosses have decided to write the on-screen sisters, Lauren and Abi Branning, out of the show in what is sure to be a dramatic exit.
A spokesperson for the show said, "We can confirm that Jacqueline and Lorna will be leaving EastEnders.
"They have both been wonderful to work with and we wish them all the best for the future."
Jacqueline has been playing Lauren for seven years, while it comes as an even bigger hit for Lorna, who has played Abi for 11 years.
Seeming to reference the exit news, Dan Osborne's wife posted a snap of the on-screen sisters to her Instagram page with love hearts alongside it.
Since taking over the soap in June, John Yorke has shaken things up and sadly the sister duo are just some of the first to go.
But on the plus side, it will make for some fantastic TV!
A source close to the soap told The Sun, "John has form for creating huge plots, so they’re in safe hands over their departure.
"It will be one of the biggest on-screen moments of the year.
"Sometimes a great storyline comes at the cost of losing some characters. The cast will be sorry to see them go."
So will we!
