She left the soap in 2018, but Jacqueline Jossa has always been teasing fans on whether she'll ever return to The Square as Lauren Branning.

And while realistically it hasn't been that long since her exit, we're dying for her to get herself back on our screens, whether that be on EastEnders or another TV venture.

But it seems a Lauren Branning revival might be around the corner.

Taking to Instagram to celebrate the show's 35th anniversary, the 2019 I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner uploaded various snaps which documented her time on the show.

She captioned the post, "HAPPY 35th @bbceastenders! I had such an amazing time and LOVED Lauren Branning with ALL of my heart! I miss you lozza, maybe see you again one day!

"Amazing week of eps congrats everyone involved! Some pics of my time on the show! Wow. Memories🖤."

After months of speculation, EastEnders bosses have confirmed that Tiffany Butcher is leaving Walford however she will also make a brief return later this year. Confirming the news Maisie Smith has said, "It's time to say farewell to Tiff! I've grown up on EastEnders since 2008, and have learnt from the best over the past 13 years. "I'm very excited for my next challenge and thank the BBC for the opportunity they gave me as a 6 year old."Jon Sen, EastEnders' executive producer, added. "We are all very sad to see Maisie leave. She's been a wonderful company member during her time at EastEnders and it's been a privilege to see her blossom into the star she is. "She has created an iconic character in Tiff and the door is always open to her return. We wish her all the very best for her future projects."

And fans couldn't cope with the teasing, as one user wrote, "One of my favourite EastEnders characters of all time. Not just because of the story lines but because of the way you played her. Your acting was spot on from day 1", while another commented, "I was thinking is this a hint your coming back soon 😍😍."

A third said, "You have to come back especially now peter is too! ❤️" and a fourth added, "Miss you being on EastEnders 😭❤️."

Jacqueline, who is married to former TOWIE star Dan Osbourne, has spoken out in the past regarding whether she'd return to the soap but admitted she's got too many projects in the pipeline.

A source also told The Sun, “Jacqueline had a few conversations with bosses about a big return four months before she entered the jungle.

“After weighing up her options she just felt the money wasn’t enough compared to what she could earn elsewhere.

“She loves EastEnders and thoroughly enjoyed her time on the show but Jacqueline is a very talented young woman and not just when it comes to acting. There are lots of strings to her bow and there's lots of things she wants to try, which she can't do when she's on EastEnders."
