A photograph of Steven Spielberg posing for a "trophy shot" in front of a triceratops on the set of Jurrasic Park has gone viral…
… for all the wrong, albeit utterly hilarious, reasons.
Facebook user Jay Branscomb wrote the following caption for the picture above: "Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a Triceratops he just slaughtered. Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man."
While Jay was joking, many Facebook users took him at his word.
One didn't hold back in her anger, with Facebook user PenelopeRayzor Bachand slamming Spielberg as an "inhumane prick" and "animal killer."
She wrote: "I think zoos are the best way to keep these innocent animals safe."
Clearly she never saw Jurassic Park - wire fences ain't ever going to hold those dinosaurs in and stop them roaming the earth. And who really thinks that those velociraptors were innocent?
Really?
She wasn't alone.
Vincent Smith also had plenty to say about Speilberg's behaviour, adding: “I don’t care who he is, he should not have shot that animal.”
Matt Uline responded with, “Y’all are dumb asses! This picture isn’t photo-shopped. This is an actual picture of Steven Spielberg posing in front of the movie prop of the Triceratops from Jurassic Park.”
The gullibility of the human race never ceases to amaze us.
To paraphrase Jurassic Park's Dr Malcolm: "Idiocy… finds a way."
