After filming her final scenes as Porsche McQueen last week, Twinnie has announced she made the decision to go so she could pursue other projects.
‘I’m moving on to pastures new and we'll see what happens next. I do a lot of songwriting and I'm signed by Universal, so that's my first passion, even before doing films and TV,’ she told Digital Spy.
‘I’ve also done a lot of musical theatre in the past and that's where my heart lies. I miss the theatre and that instant buzz you get when you're on stage.’
Moore added that her Hollyoaks contract was only meant to be short term, and despite being offered a longer stint, said she had decided it was the right time to go.
But that doesn’t mean the 28-year-old isn’t sad about leaving the soap, telling Digital Spy that her last day was ‘really emotional and very sad.
‘Everyone came down to set for my last scene. I got a big bunch of flowers and a lovely send off.’
Speaking of her character’s final scenes, Twinnie promises that Porsche’s exit is every bit as emotional as we’ve come to expect from the Chester soap.
And she even left the door open for a potential Porsche return, saying: ‘You never know, Porsche might come back.’
