Hollyoaks has been on our screen for over 21 years now and it never fails to keep us entertained.
But viewers should be prepared for an incredible stunt at the Halloween Spooktacular event after traumatic events take place in the maze which will leave lives hanging in the balance…

The Halloween storyline will change lives in the village forever....
And we shouldn’t take that with a pinch of salt as (Emmerdale said that about their Big Week and look what happened there) ; nd if the eerie Halloween trailer is anything to go by we know the episode is going to be crazy…
Hollyoaks fans will already know that Nico isn’t just slightly unhinged but a fully fledged murderer. We’ve seen her push her uncle Will Savage off a hospital roof and try to posion her mum Sienna and left her to die after she suffered an allergic reaction.
But that’s not all, she’s even killed a few people including Carly Bradley after she attacked Sienna, her granddad Patrick Blake after he recorded a DVD explaining to Ben Bradley that Nico killed his daughter Carly AND we witnessed the evil teen stab Trevor Royle on his wedding day to Grace Blake.
She also killed Trevor after she discovered he was having an affair with her mum who was dating her step dad Ben (as in Carly’s dad – Ben).
Phew.
Starting next week, we will see the villagers all gathered together to attend the Halloween Spooktacular event and it seems that Nico might have plans to kill her next victim…
Nico Blake, Peri Lomax and Tom Cunningham
At the beginning of the week Nico takes poor Peri hostage in the bunker and drugs her and after Nico discovers that Peri’s friendship and devotion isn’t the same as Nico’s she leaves her in the bunker and goes after Tom who is at the Spooktacular event.
Nico corners Tom in the fortune teller tent - but what will happen between the two?
Sienna and Nico Blake’s showdown
Sienna has been released from of prison after wrongfully confessing to murdering her dad Patrick (she blamed herself for the way Nico turned out and took the blame after discovering her daughter actually killed her dad– a slightly cute, slightly crazy decision).
Sienna and her boyfriend Warren race to find Nico at the Halloween event and after Sienna finds Nico they chase each other into the maze but as said before a traumatic event will take place in the maze…
Mercedes McQueen, Joanne Cardsley and Joe Roscoe
Mercedes and Joe meet at the Spooktacular event and Freddie Roscoe reveals to Mercedes that Joe is planning to propose. As Joe and Mercedes sit on the Ferris wheel discussing what their future could look like, Joanne takes the key out of the control booth so the ride halts to a stop.
Will the pair get down to safety without a scratch or could trouble be ahead?
There is rumoured to be a HUGE stunt...

Mercedes, Joe and Joanne have been in a love triangle for quite a while now and we’ve all seen the lengths Joanne will go to keep Joe to herself. She’s planted drugs on Mercedes and keeps trying to turn Joe against Mercedes and we will soon see her risk Mercedes and Joe’s lives while they’re on the Ferris wheel...
Joe Roscoe to die?
We recently discovered that Ayden Callaghan, who plays Joe, is leaving the show soon, so does this mean he will meet his end during the Halloween event? We hope not, although he will be on a Ferris wheel with Mercedes and Joanne seems like the type of woman where if she can’t have Joe no one can…
Joanne Cardsley to die?
Joanne has been crafty trying to steal Joe away from Mercedes and it seems that her jealously will get the better of her when she spots Joe trying to win Mercedes back on the Ferris wheel.
Her actions leave the pair trapped on the Ferris wheel but as tragic events happen at the event will Joanne’s life be left in danger?
Tom Cunningham to die?
We know how obsessed Nico is with Peri but will she decide that the best way to have Peri to herself is to kill Tom? We will see Nico corner Tom but what will happen between the pair? If the Halloween trailer is anything to go by it doesn’t look good...
Peri Lomax to die?
Peri and Nico used to be best friends, and even bullied Jade Albright together but Peri finally saw Nico’s true colours when she discovered she was poisoning Max. During the Halloween events Nico does poison Peri and leaves her alone in the bunker, will Peri be OK?
Nico Blake to die?
Nico has been the cause of a lot of death and drama in Hollyoaks and will Sienna, Warren and the police searching for her will she meet a dramatic end at the Spooktacular event?
Sienna Blake to die?
Poor Sienna, she hasn’t had it easy has she? Her dad and her lover has died, her daughter is a crazy murderer and she’s been in prison covering for her daughter. But after she’s released and chases Nico into the maze what will happen? Will Nico kill her own mum? We wouldn’t be surprised…
Warren Fox to die?
Warren is a villain but just like Ryan Knight we love him. After telling Sienna that she needs to confess that Nico is a murderer will Nico hit out and kill Warren? After all she did kill her own grandfather when she discovered her wanted to turn her in…
Ryan Knight to die?
We don’t want to say goodbye to Ryan Knight – aka Duncan James – even though he isn’t a good guy we do actually like him a lil bit. We’ve seen in the Autumn trailer that he’s trying to find Nico and has described her as “dangerous”… (you don’t say) but viewers will know that people who are against Nico usually don’t live very long…
Jude Cunningham to die?
Even though she’s just recently returned to the village she is hosting the Halloween Spooktacular. And with her sister Cindy soon to discover her scam secret could Jude die at a twisted Halloween event?
Cindy Cunningham to die?
Cindy has only just welcomed her sister Jude back but after discovering her sisters scam will it put Cindy in danger? After all she is at the Halloween event and there’s drama right round the corner…
Other Hollyoaks villagers to die?
And finally of course this wouldn’t be a soap unless there were a few twists and turns, could another villager be killed during the Halloween Spooktacular event?
With nutter Nico on the loose she could be about to kill another villager? Then and again someone could be affected by the traumatic events round the corner…
