After continuous pressure by fiancé Warren Fox for Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) to confess what she knows about the death of Patrick Blake, she is finally about to snap.

But what are Warren’s motives behind getting the confession?

The pair first met when he wooed her on a holiday as a man named ‘Mike’.

When she returned to the village, she announced she was in fact engaged to him.

But, what she doesn’t know is that his true identity is notorious Hollyoaks bad boy Warren Fox (played by Jamie Lomas) and that he previously dated her sister Mitzee, before trying to kill her.

Could he be looking for revenge in the form of Maxine or does he have another motive?

After seven months of secrecy concerning the whereabouts of Patrick’s body, Maxine slips up this month as she confesses the truth to Warren, who she believes is a trustworthy ally.

But her secret isn’t safe for long as the villain of Chester reports back to Patrick’s daughter Sienna, who immediately calls the police with the newly discovered information.

The body has been hidden away since January after Maxine discovered him dead in their flat, despite him deciding he no longer wanted her to help him to commit suicide.

Panicking, she enlisted the help of ex-boyfriend Darren Osborne (played by Ashley Taylor Dawson) to help her dispose of the body.

However, the idea didn’t go to plan as the corpse ended up being cemented into the City Wall after it was hidden there overnight.

When police return to the village with new information, Maxine will be terrified as they head straight for the exact location that Patrick is hidden.

Will Maxine find out the true identity of her beau before it’s too late? Or will it be game over when the police arrive?

Hollyoaks will air these scenes on Tuesday 26 July at 6:30pm on Channel 4.
