Lindsey Butterfield (Sophie Austin), as Hollyoaks fans are all too aware, is the Gloved Hand Killer.
And, in chilling scenes shown during the soap's 20th anniversary week, she appeared to have murdered her former lover, Freddie (Charlie Clapham).
Only, unbeknownst to her, she didn’t quite finish him off as much as she’d hoped.
Still alive when he was bundled into the back of Trevor Royle’s car, Freddie was later found by police and placed into the witness protection act.
Cue Trevor being falsely accused of being the serial killer who had stalked the hospital’s corridors, and arrested.
But now he’s out - and he will stop at nothing to find the REAL Gloved Hand Killer.
Which, as you can imagine, is all very stressful for Lindsey… yet things are about to get even more intense when she receives a call from beyond the grave.
Yup, Freddie’s got her number, and he wants to meet up.
Has he remembered that Lindsey’s REALLY the one who tried to kill him? Is he out for revenge - and luring her into a trap?
Or does Freddie remain absolutely clueless about Lindsey’s killer instinct… and will she be able to use her trusty hypodermic on him before he has a chance to think about it?
A Hollyoaks insider told the Daily Star: “The emotional reunion between Lindsey and Freddie is one that soap fans will not want to miss…”
We can’t WAIT to watch the drama unfold.
