The Gloved Hand Killer already bumped off more than a few of our favourite characters in Hollyoaks this year.

And now it seems as if we could be set to bid farewell to yet another.

Eep.

We watched open-mouthed as, last night, tearaway teen Nico (Persephone Swales-Dawson) violently attacked her mother, Sienna (Anna Passey).

Left with broken ribs, and a growing sense of horror, Sienna was seen coming to terms with the fact that she has raised a monster - and that she is putting her life is in danger.

Could this be the spark of a twisted plan to get rid of her daughter… once and for all?

Anna Passey, who plays Sienna, told the Mirror Online: "Nico definitely has it in her to kill her mum… Sienna is terrified now because she knows she can't control Nico anymore.

"At that point, Sienna turns to Patrick and says 'I need you to help me'.

“Even he then begins for her safety and that's saying something!"

We know that Patrick (Jeremy Sheffield) definitely has a dark side, and, as he’s planning to end his life in the not-so-distant future, he may be prepared to take drastic steps to protect his daughter.

Jeremy, speaking about his character, told What’s On TV: “He wants Sienna [Anna Passey] to be safe after he has gone and he wants to protect her. He goes to Ben [Ben Richards] to make sure he’ll be there to keep her safe, but he doesn’t say why.

“One of his ideas is to send Nico [Persephone Swales-Dawson] off to boarding school, but Sienna won’t go along with that. Eventually, he goes a whole extra step. But it will come back to bite him later down the line."

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see if Nico survives the festive season, eh?

Hollyoaks is on Channel 4 tonight at 6.30pm.
