The nail-biting new Hollyoaks trailer has landed and 2018 promises to get off to a crashing start with a terrifying tunnel smash, a surprise new arrival and two weddings in the offing!
There is carnage next week when the Maalik family and Tony, Diane and Harry are involved in a terrible car smash in a tunnel that leaves them battling for their lives. Who will get out of the wreckage intact when a lorry comes hurtling towards the trapped vehicles?
Meanwhile, it's all about to kick off as Mandy and Luke gear up for their wedding day only for Luke's secret wife, Scarlett and their son, Oliver to rock up in the village. Uh oh. Is it safe to assume the wedding is definitely OFF!
Elsewhere, emotions run high when dying Maggie asks her estranged son Scott to help end her life plus Peri drops the bombshell on Prince that she's pregnant with his child. Yep...that's the same Prince who is planning to marry Lily in a Vegas ceremony!
In true Hollyoaks style, 2018 is about to kick off with plenty of thrills, spills and exciting stunts!

The Maaliks and Tony, Diane and Harry in tunnel car crash!
There is carnage when the Maalik family and Diane and Tony are involved in a horrific car crash in a tunnel.
The Maalik family are on their way home from a special cricket match which mum Misbah has organized in a bid to unite her family.
However on the way home, Misbah loses control and crashes the car in a tunnel, sending the vehicle spinning out of control.
Meanwhile Tony and Diane are caught up in the collision when Diane finally decides she needs to leave her hubby Tony and packs her bags.
However as Tony agrees to drive her to her sister's and the couple head off they’re involved in the tunnel smash.
As the mangled vehicles lie motionless and the Maaliks are trapped inside their car, there’s fresh terror when a lorry comes speeding towards them. A panicked Misbah struggles furiously to save her children but who will she choose to help first? Meanwhile Tony is heard crying out for help and his son Harry is seen running away from the scene! What was he doing there and is someone about to die?
Luke's secret wife Scarlett arrives as he and Mandy prepare to tie the knot!
Against all the odds the couple have finally made it to their wedding day, Mandy is in her wedding dress and Luke is waiting at the altar.
But the Big Day is about to be thrown into chaos as Luke’s secret wife Scarlett (Susie Amy) and his estranged son Oliver (Aedan Duckworth) make a shock arrival in the village with devastating timing!
Maggie begs Damon to forgive her
With Maggie’s days numbered she begs estranged son Damon to make amends before it’s too late. But how will her other son, Scott, react when his estranged mum, who's dying from cancer, asks him to help her end her life?
Tegan to expose killer Ryan?
The net starts to close in on Harry who is convinced he killed Amy. However Tegan, Ryan’s girlfriend is destroyed when she catches Ste and Ryan kissing.
As she angrily confronts Ryan has she finally worked out who REALLY killed Amy? And is the game finally over for the murdering copper?
Wedding bells and pregnancy bombshell!
