Hollyoaks Spoilers: OMG Maxine arrested for child abuse before dumping Adam?

Married life doesn't get off to the best start for Maxine Minniver when she and Adam arrive back in Hollyoaks

Newly-weds Maxine and Adam arrive back in the village next week and are shocked to discover Adam's ex, Darcy, and new fella Jesse getting it on on the sofa. But they're soon distracted when baby Minnie takes her first steps! Adam suggests they throw a Welcome Home party to celebrate. Everything is going wonderfully until devil-child Toby goes missing with Minnie. Maxine finds the runaways outside - and Toby is stood over Minnie who is struggling to get up!

Maxine screams and grabs Toby's shoulder which causes Adam, Jesse and Darcy to come running out. Toby tells them that Maxine hit him!

Protesting her innocence, Adam reassures Maxine that no one will believe she hit Toby - but it's not long before the police come knocking.

A devastated Maxine then tells Adam she's leaving him. Darcy is delighted that her plan seems to be working when she finds out Maxine is planning on heading to America with Minnie.

A desperate Adam tries to stop Maxine before she gets to the airport - sending a message out over the taxi radio. But when Jack and the cab arrive back in the village, Maxine and Minnie are not with him.

Has Darcy finally got her way and got rid of Maxine for good?
