Thought that murderous Mac couldn’t stoop any lower, then think again!
The evil landlord has already let his partner Neeta Kaur plunge to her death and last night on E4’s first look episode, viewers saw Oaks favourite Frankie Osborne pass away in a shock twist.
The Osborne mum was seen breathing her last after suffering a stroke when she heard her family were trapped in the gas explosion secretly caused by Mac.
The Osborne clan have been utterly shattered by her sudden death and tonight's plot on E4 unfolds when a distraught Jack, who was pulled from the rubble by paramedics, realises that his wedding ring from his beloved Frankie, is missing.
Desperate to track it down he returns to the ruins of Hollyoaks High where he bumps into Mac.
A cunning Mac immediately offers to help Jack search for the missing item and Jack is delighted when he thinks he’s found it in the boiler room, the source of the blast.
However on closer inspection he’s devastated to realise it’s not his ring and Mac immediately notices the ring is Hunter’s!
Quick as a flash Mac uses the evidence to suggest that it was Neeta’s young lover who must have been responsible for the blast that left Neeta dead.

When Mac convinces Jack that Hunter must be to blame, what will the grieving dad do?
Is he about to go to the police with the ring as evidence? Or is he plotting something else as payback?
We're seriously hoping that murdering Mac will get his comeuppance but right now, it's not looking likely!
