Kim Butterfield (Daisy Wood-Davis) was originally arrested as the Gloved Hand Killer - until police realised that they’d caught the wrong sister.
However, with Lindsey (Sophie Austin) on the loose, Kim is terrified that her sister will return and do something truly terrible; after all, she has nothing left to lose.
In last night’s episode, we saw Lindsey (disguised with a blonde wig) pounce on her sister as she attempted to flee the village.
The incident left Kim torn - and, despite wanting to flee with Esther, she realised that she was putting everyone around her in too mch danger.
But, after telling a heartbroken Esther that she has to leave on her own, Kim may have just set herself up as a prime target.

When Lindsey tells Kim to meet her with money, Kim decides it’s time to get the police involved… but it seems as if not even the long arm of the law can save her.
And it’s not long before she gets another text from Lindsey, which says they should be together. Forever.
Eep - we really hope Kim won’t be lured into THAT spider’s web.
After all, we know that Lindsey has it in her to kill her own flesh and blood; as soap viewers saw in special flashback scenes during Hollyoaks' 20th anniversary week, Lindsey was incredibly jealous of the bond twins Kim and Kath shared.
So, in a bid to feel closer to Kim, she purposefully shoved Kath - her own sister - into a lake.
The incident (which was intended to kill Kath) left the youngster with severe brain damage, meaning that she cannot move or speak.
Lindsey later told Kim: "She caused the problems, she caused the fights. I only needed one sister. I only needed you.
"She was never your twin, never really. Life didn't make sense. I took control for you."

Speaking about whether Kim could be the last person on the Gloved Hand Killer’s list, Daisy told OK! Online: "I don't think she thought Lindsey would ever turn her back on Kim.
“It's a full realisation of what she's risked and how little it was appreciated, and what a big mistake she's made really."
And Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen, told Daily Star Online that viewers CAN expect a big fat twist.
"It's been amazing and I can't wait for it to be on screen. It comes to, I wouldn't say an end, but it comes to a climax.
"I think it's brilliant and theres a fantastic twist which I'm very much involved in."
Does this mean that Mercedes will finally expose Lindsey? Or does it mean that Lindsey will spill blood for one last time…?
WE JUST CAN’T WAIT ANY LONGER!!!
Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Tuesday, April 19, Wednesday, April 20 and Thursday, April 21 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
