Ryan is in a spin when his secret lover Kyle rocks up after being released from prison!
Killer cop Ryan is in for one almighty shock when his secret lover Kyle suddenly shows up in the village.
Poor Kyle has been in prison ever since Ryan stitched him up for drug-dealing but now he’s back and what better place to rock up than at a family party!
Ryan is almost choking on the finger buffet goodies when he catches sight of Kyle who turns up at his Auntie Doreen's party.
“Kyle’s been in prison for the past five months”, says Adam Rickitt who plays the jailbird, “So it could go one of two ways. Either he’d go completely Cape Fear and start planning how to murder Ryan or he could get a little bit obsessive about their relationship.”
Hmm. Thankfully for Ryan it’s the latter!
Rather than turn up armed and ready for revenge for his wrongful imprisonment, it’s clear a smitten Kyle wants to pick up their relationship where things left off.
However Ryan is doing his very best to prove that he’s straight by starting up a relationship with Tegan. When he sees Kyle hovering in the wings, suddenly he’s all over her like a rash but who is he fooling!
“Kyle knows what’s going on between Ryan and Tegan and knows why Ryan’s doing it”, says Adam.
“Ryan is in denial mode and the fact that he slept with Kyle on his wedding night shows how screwed up he is!”
A flustered Ryan manages to bundle Kyle out of the party as soon as possible but secretly arranges to meet up with him later.
When the two men come face to face it’s clear there’s still a huge attraction between them but as they lean in for a kiss, someone is watching from afar....James!
The scheming lawyer has always been suspicious of Ryan so this latest exchange is definitely going to give him new ammunition.
What will James do? Does Ryan have genuine feelings for Kyle? And is Kyle’s return about to trigger serious trouble for the killer copper?
