The former Waterloo Road actress has joined the cast of Hollyoaks and will be the latest McQueen to hit our screens.

That’s right, Chelsee Healey will be a long lost relative of the McQueen family, as she arrives in Autumn searching for her ‘posh’ relatives Myra, Mercedes and John Paul.

And expect more drama when Chelsee’s character Goldie arrives!

“If you think scam artist/occasional shoplifter Myra is bad, you ain’t seen nothing yet!” a Hollyoaks statement revealed.

Goldie McQueen is set to be a “tough, gobby and absolutely shameless” character – who turns up on the scene with her twin sons, Prince and Hunter.

Goldie had the boys when she was in her teens, and they are apparently the one thing she cares more about than making easy money!

Speaking about her exciting new role, Chelsee said: “I am absolutely thrilled to join Hollyoaks.

“I’ve grown up watching it so to be in it is unbelievable. It was an irresistible opportunity, especially to play this character.”

Excited to be playing a mum, Chelsee revealed that Malique Thompson-Dwyer (Prince) and Theo Graham (Hunter) are “fantastic” to work with.

Prince will be extremely confident, rebellious and adventurous and LOVES the attention from the girls; whereas his brother Hunter is more of a sensitive, charming and creative character, who tries to stay out of trouble – but with a brother like Prince, is that really going to happen?!

Chelsee took to Twitter earlier today to reveal her excitement, saying: “So excited to join.@Hollyoaks and to top it off we are Mcqueens! Meet my lovely sons @TheoGraham @officialmal_ ! You ready?! X [sic]”

To which Theo replied: “Lets cause some trouble”

We can’t wait to see Chelsee, Malique and Theo arrive on our screens – cue more Hollyoaks drama!
