Hollyoaks viewers will know the Halloween Spooktacular event is approaching VERY soon. Yay!

Fans of the show will remember O.B. aka Sam O'Brien as the best friend of Max Cunningham (who unfortunately died on his wedding day to Steph Dean after being run over by Niall Rafferty).

O.B joined the show in 1997 and left in 2008 to return to London to live with his girlfriend Summer but now he is back and on a mission to find the missing Osborne family.

In an upcoming storyline the Osborne family will disappear without a trace because of Eva Falcone's plan of revenge on Jack Osborne. When Eva sees Jack at her dad Billy's funeral she sees red and plans to kill Jack herself. But when Cindy runs to the Osborne's house while the police are searching for Jude she finds the place completely empty.

With the help of Grace Black and Cindy Cunningham, O.B will try and try to find the family.

Darren Jeffries, who plays O.B, has admitted: "It's an absolute pleasure to bring O.B back to Hollyoaks village. If anyone can get to the bottom of where the Osbornes are it's him.

"I still can't believe it's been over eight years since I left the show, it feels like I've never been away."

We can't wait to see him!

Are the Osborne family alive? Or has Eva got her revenge? And are you looking forward to O.B's return?
