Hollyoaks’s Sonny Flood – aka Josh Ashworth – looks NOTHING like this anymore

Loyal fans of Channel 4's Hollyoaks will certainly remember Josh Ashworth.

Played by Sonny Flood, Josh came crashing onto our screens with the rest of the Ashworth family back in 2005. Little brother to the feisty Hannah (Emma Rigby) and always-in-love Rhys (Andrew Moss), the floppy-haired rebel certainly enjoyed his fair share of dramatic storylines over the years.

From underage sex, to drug-taking, heavy drinking and attempted murder, Josh did it all during his five years in the soap, being involved in some of its most gritty storylines to date.

After Paul Marquess took over the role of Executive Producer of Hollyoaks in 2010, the entire Ashworth family (except Rhys) were written out of the show – with Josh bowing out in suitably dramatic fashion, crashing his car after his drink was spiked.

Since leaving, Sonny has had a few other acting roles in programmes such as Doctors and Casualty, before putting his acting on the back seat so he could focus on his education.

Having recently completed a law degree at the University of Manchester, Sonny now works as a paralegal, and has ditched his trademark long locks and skinny frame for a more grown up 'do and muscular physique.

Well hello, Sonny!

The former bad boy is all grown up now, and we think he looks great. But kind of miss his longer hair, though, don't you?

What do you think of Sonny's grown up look?
