Can you believe it’s somehow been 10 – yes, TEN – years since the sixth (and in our opinion, best) series of The Great British Bake Off.

Nadiya Hussain was crowned the winner and she’s had a HUGE career since then, going on to make several cooking shows for the BBC and releasing her own cookbooks.

We all know what Nadiya’s up to, but what have the other bakers been up to since taking part in the competition show? Allow us to reveal all.

Stu Henshall

Before appearing on Bake Off, Stu worked as a touring musician, producer and songwriter for bands like The Prodigy. He was sadly eliminated in the first week of the competition, but that didn't stop him from carving out a career in food.

Stu went on to become the Executive Chef for two of the world's biggest meat-free brands - Quorn and Cauldron.

Speaking about his time on Bake Off during a podcast appearance back in 2022, he said, 'It’s not a natural way to start a culinary career. here are a lot more eyes on what you’re doing as opposed to starting as a pot wash and working your way up from there.'

Marie Campbell

Marie left the show after she forgot to turn her oven on! She has continued to bake for her family after the compeition and even made a massive robot cake for son’s 40th birthday.

Since her time on the show, Dorret has commissioned several cakes and is helping restaurants develop dessert menus.

Sandy Docherty

Sandy was a welfare officer at a school before competing on the sixth series of GBBO. She was eliminated in episode 4 after failing to impress the judges with her creme brûlées and cheesecake.

Sandy continues with her baking classes, talks and demonstrations and has appeared at events like The Great British Food Festival.
