If you're anything like us, you're probably obsessed with Gogglebox - from 'posh couple' Steph and Dom's hilariously squiffy antics, to BFF's Sandy and Sandra and their endless obsession with Pot Noodles, everyone has a favourite family.

But we have bad news - because one of the most popular Gogglebox families have been axed from the show.

Yup, it's official; Andrew, Carolynne, Louis and Alex Michael - along with their settee - will no longer appear on the show.

Why? Because Andrew is running as a candidate for UKIP in the general election.

A spokesperson for Channel 4 told the Sun: "Sadly any cast member becoming a party candidate will have to step down from involvement in Gogglebox.

"The Michaels have been excellent contributors and we are very grateful."

The statement follows the family's absence on Gogglebox on Friday night.

It's not the first time a family has been dropped from the clever concept show; the Gilby clan were also axed, despite their hilarious input, when George decided to appear on the last series of Celebrity Big Brother.

We hope Channel 4 don't bump anyone else from the lineup - we love them all too much!
