The BBC has recently lost GBBO to Channel 4 and last year it was confirmed The Voice would be moving to ITV.

Step forward Gary Barlow, who has teamed up with the BBC for a new talent competition, which will see the Take That singer search for five men to take part in a new musical based on his much loved group.

Let It Shine is expected to follow the in the lines of How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? and Any Dream Will Do, and has co-presenters Graham Norton and Mel Giedroyc on board.

And now the full judging panel has been revealed!

Joining Gary will be former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue, actor and Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, and none other than Glee’s Amber Riley.

“Dannii, Martin and Amber all bring so much to this panel with the breadth of experience in music, acting, stage and TV. I can’t wait to get started – it’s going to be epic!” Gary said.

The five lucky winners will join brand new musical The Band, which will begin rehearsals in July 2017 before heading on tour nationwide until June 2018.

The new Saturday night show will run for eight weeks on BBC One in the new year and will consist of three stages.

The BBC explained: “The ambitious format will place the spectacle of the group’s live concert experience at its heart and feature all-singing and all-dancing performances, unearthing performers from every corner of the United Kingdom.”

Dannii said of her new role: “I'm so excited to be returning to the UK and joining the judging panel of Let It Shine. To be a performer you must have a burning desire to perform, then you train at all the skills you need to shine. This show gives everyone that chance. I can't wait!”

Amber – who will only be joining her fellow judges for the first stage – said: "I am so excited to see what the UK talent has to offer and share some of my experience on the stage to help them reach their full potential. I’m not just looking for the biggest voices or the biggest personalities, but those who have what it takes to make it on TV and on stage.”
