People have been telling us to Let It Go for months, but now our dreams have finally come true.

Yup, Frozen The Musical has officially been confirmed.

And we couldn’t be more excited about it.

Disney announced that Frozen is scheduled to make its Broadway debut in 2018 - via their brand-spanking new Twitter account.

Yes, Frozen - we really can feel the excitement. More than you’ll ever know.

There’s even better news for the movie’s fans, as the stage show’s music and lyrics will be penned by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez - better known as the geniuses who brought us Let It Go, Do You Wanna Build A Snowman, and more.

The show, which will be directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers (Here Lies Loves, The Pee-wee Herman Show), will join Disney's smash musicals The Lion King and Aladdin on New York’s Broadway.

But it will first play out of town at a to-be-announced theatre next year. Exciting!

The cast has yet to be announced, but Idina Menzel - who plays Queen Elsa - has said before that she would "absolutely" reprise the role on Broadway.

If it proves to be a success, there’ll be bringing Frozen The Musical to London for a stint in the West End.

But, if you can’t wait THAT long, it might be worth booking tickets to NYC for a very magical trip…
