Theatre owner Simon Gross was evicted in a shock twist, after he opened a Timebomb that had ‘eviction’ on it.

The 46-year-old was selected by viewers, along with four other housemates, to be part of the twist - which either rewarded or punished contestants.

Jade received a luxury shopping budget

Housemate Jack McDermott received immunity, while Nick Henderson got nominations and will have to nominate people face-to-face throughout his time in the house - well that’s just awkward.

Jade Lynch got a luxury shopping budget for use while in the house, while Adjoa Mensah was left empty handed.

Weirdly, Simon left the house to boos, despite only having two hours to turn audiences against him.

Speaking to host Emma Willis, he said: ‘For my five minutes of fame it was fantastic, I’ve got a career to go back to…it’s showbiz.’

‘I’ve had so many rejections in my career it’s just one of many, its showbiz…I would have been fabulous but that’s the way it goes. I think they will have a really fantastic summer.’
