Fatboy could be set for a shock return to EastEnders - which would be especially surprising as the character was killed off last Christmas.
Viewers were led to believe the former Walford resident had met a grizzly end but his dead body was never seen on screen and the death was not confirmed by authorities.
Some Albert Square residents even think he is still alive, meaning he could make a return to London’s East End.
And actor Ricky Norwood would love to appear on the BBC soap again as he loved playing the part.
He told Inside Soap: "There are still petitions going on! I get told, ‘We want Fats back,’ on a daily basis, whether it’s a message on Twitter or somebody I meet in the street.
"To have had that impact on the nation, with a character who was supposed to be on EastEnders for three months, was amazing."
Ricky went on to speculate on his possible return to the programme and would love to see it involve beloved character Dot Cotton, although he admits she may struggle.
"It might be a bit too much for her if she ever found out the truth," he said. "Dot saw Fats as pure and almost incorruptible, which is why she didn’t want him messing about in too many dodgy things.
"His death would really hurt her, but storyline-wise it might be fun if she went on a secret rampage for Fats, messing up Vincent in one way or another."
EastEnders bosses are yet to comment on Fatboy’s return…
