That's right; Coronation Street fans could soon be able to have their wedding at the very same place their favourite soap was created.
The studio opened as a temporary visitor attraction in April after production moved to a new set at MediaCityUK in Salford Quays.
Tourist attractions group Continuum, who currently organise tours of the old set, applied for the wedding license last month.
The certificate will allow non-religious marriages and civil ceremonies to be performed at the old Manchester set, where the ITV soap was filmed for 53 years.
And, after marrying at the Rovers Return, Underworld, Jack and Vera Duckworth's house or even the barge where Kevin Barlow's mistress lived, couples can pose together on the famous Weatherfield cobbles.
While the venue can already be hired for parties (at a cool £2,5000 for 120 people on a weekday evening), wedding packages are still being finalised.
Corrie fans who want to have a wedding there will have to be quick, though - the studios are earmarked for redevelopment and are set to close in October.
