After one of the most heartbreaking Emmerdaleepisodes in years, where viewers saw Moira discover that her daughter Holly had died from a heroin addiction.
It was impeccable and award-worthy acting, don't you think?
Following her return earlier this year, Sophie Powles (who plays Holly) revealed that she knew her character was going to be killed off when she returned to the ITV show in March: "I always knew I was only coming back for a six-month storyline and I knew it was going to be drug-related and heart-breaking.
"I was prepared for this and I knew what I was signing up for when I spoke to the producer about returning."
And in upcoming scenes that show the effect that the devasting events have had, the Barton's are so overcome with grief and anger towards the drug dealer that gave Holly (who was recovering from her addiction) the drugs that led to her death - one family member is keen to seek revenge.
Struggling to come to terms with his sister's death, Adam makes it his mission to find out who the drug dealer is, with Moira concerned that his actions may turn deadly.
Urging him to leave it, Adam soon learns who Simon is and catches him trying to flee confronation. Grabbing him by the throat and overcome with emotion - will Adam kill the man he believe put his sister in the ground?
Or will he think logically about his actions and take him straight to the police?
