Rhona Goskirk returns to Emmerdale next week after her attack at the hands of Pierce Harris
Emmerdale fans are still reeling after last week's brutal wedding day rape by Pierce Harris on his new bride, Rhona. Viewers saw evil Pierce force himself on Rhona after she told him she wasn't in the mood. The next day, a terrified Rhona reported the attack to the police, but didn't name her assailant. Next week, Rhona returns from the honeymoon her and Pierce were supposed to go on with news.
She makes it clear to her friends right away that her marriage is over, but doesn't tell them why. Is she protecting Pierce - and why?
Rhona tells a concerned Paddy that Pierce found out about their drunken kiss on the day their divorce was finalised, but will she reveal the full extent of Pierce's worrying control?
Her friend Vanessa is also worried and heads round to Rhona's cottage when she hears about the split. She's shocked to find the place ransacked and wedding presents destroyed. Was it Rhona's doing?
Vanessa tries to reach out to Rhona, but will her devastated friend let her in?
