Emmerdale's Rhona Goskirk finds the strength to make sure she faces evil Pierce Harris in court
Rhona's been left scared and traumatised after her ordeal at the hands of Pierce Harris. She's still suffering from the aftermath of his vicious attack on her on their wedding day, but she's also had to endure village gossip, as well as a number of break-ins at her home. She's been left so shaken and fearful of what else her evil ex can do that she tells Paddy Kirk and Vanessa Woodfield that she's planning to drop the charges. No, Rhona!
It's actually Pierce's disgusting attitude that is his undoing though. When Rhona visits him at work to let him know she's not going through with the court case, he's disgustingly smug about it.
Then, as she's leaving, she hears him chatting away to his collegues as if nothing has even happened. She's left reeling as she has to live with this for the rest of her life, but Pierce is already moving on with his.
She changes her mind and by the time she gets home, Pierce has been charged. But as court and a trial become a reality, Rhona confesses to Vanessa that she's terrified of how Pierce will twist things in front of the judge.
