Emmerdale is set for an explosive week when Moira Dingle gets caught up in a fire in the barn as Emma Barton seemingly wants to leave her there to die.
Emma, played by Gillean Kearney, had been left haunted by the death of her husband James after Gabby heard of Emma’s demands of her younger brother Arthur to keep quiet about the murder.
But he recently terrorised her by making her believe her dead husband sending her messages from beyond the grave, causing the horrific secret to taunt her.
After heading to speak to her, Moira is horrified by Emma’s admission that she killed James and attempts to escape as she realises how unhinged she is but is set upon by Emma as she wields a pitchfork and hits a light which sparks a fire in a nearby bale of hay.
The fire quickly spreads and an explosion knocks them both to the ground, leaving Moira trapped under a pile of crates.
She cries out for Emma’s help but she leaves Moira there, possible to meet a grisly end.
Emmerdale airs on ITV1 on weekdays at 7pm.
