A struggling Moira comes to a SHOCK decision
New mum Moira is cracking up. Not really surprising given the fact she’s recently squeezed out a newborn baby she didn’t even know existed!
As the shell-shocked farmer continues to battle with the demands of sleepless nights, a crying tot and endless dirty nappies, it’s clear she’s a woman on the edge, however next week she stuns her family when she announces she wants to give little Isaac away!
The story unravels when Cain’s mum Faith, who’s worried about Moira’s mental state and the well-being of her grandson, urges Cain, who’s the baby’s father, to get more involved.
Faith lures Cain up to Butlers Farm where he’s worried to see a numb Moira aloof and withdrawn. With baby Isaac’s christening looming, Cain tries to encourage her to make some decisions and his beaten-down ex later agrees that her son Adam and Victoria should be the tot’s Godparents.
However as the day of the christening arrives, it’s clear Moira’s mind is a million miles away. Later, and with the ceremony over, there’s fresh worry when she does a vanishing act without saying goodbye to anyone. Where has she gone?
The answer becomes clear when she later bursts into the adoption meeting that Victoria and Adam are in the middle of.
Adam is shocked to see his mum in a deranged state and even more taken-aback when she announces she wants Victoria and him to have baby Isaac!
Is Moira suffering from post-natal depression? Has her sudden outburst actually knocked Victoria and Adam’s chances of adopting a child of their own? And what will Isaac’s daddy Cain make of this latest development?
