Could this be the end for Emmerdale's beloved Kerry Wyatt? Viewers will already know that following her spilt from boyfriend Dan, Kerry hasn't been looking out for herself lately in terms of keeping on top of her diabetes.
And in a New Year shock, Kerry will collapse on a footbridge whilst out walking with her grandson Kyle. In shocking scenes that will see her collapse and about to pass out, Kerry shouts to Kyle to stay away from the water – but will he have to look out for her instead?
Luckily for Kerry, little Kyle thinks on his feet and heads back to the cafe to try and get help from Cain and Zak Dingle, who just assume that Kerry is still drunk.
Will they take Kerry's situation seriously? Or will it all be too late?
Kerry's ex Dan is also on the look out for Kerry, and goes out to look for Kerry, who is out in the freezing cold, on her own and on the brink of hypothermia.
Speaking at a recent Emmerdale press conference, actress Laura Norton revealed to us that her character is in a very bad way:
"It's all about to come to a head, and not in a brilliant way.
"She manages to have time with Kyle on her own, she’s very cold, she’s very run down, she’s not feeling great and her diabetes has got a hold of her. Kerry knows she doesn’t feel right, and she doesn’t want Kyle to come to any harm so she tells him to run off. Cain thinks oh brilliant, she’s drinking, she’s drunk, she’s collapsed, and Kyle is in danger. That’s not what it is at all. Kerry’s the one in danger, and her life really is in danger this time."
Will this be the last straw for Kerry? Or will she be able to build herself back up again?
**Surely this can't be the end... **
